Tokutei Kaigo scoring: the pass mark for each test
Each Kaigo test is passed on the total score. The skills test needs 60%, the Japanese test 73%. You must pass both; one is not enough.

The last column converts the percentage assuming every question is worth the same, as the app's exam guide does. The official page states the pass mark as a percentage of the total score.
No minimum per area
In the skills test you can miss more in one area if you make up for it elsewhere, as long as the total reaches 60%. But 生活支援技術 is 20 of 45 questions, so weakness there is hard to make up. See the structure on the Kaigo skills test page.

The 73% Japanese pass mark
The Japanese test has only 15 questions, so each one is almost 7% of the total. Five mistakes means a fail. Practise until you reliably get 12 to 13 right for a margin. See the Kaigo Japanese test.
Results
- Your pass or fail result appears on screen right after the test.
- The score report can be downloaded from a separate site, usually within about 5 business days.
- If you fail, you must wait 45 days from the day after the test before a retake.
